I may be taking a job in Gainesville, FL soon and was wondering if anyone
had any experience with the schools there.  My son is 11 years old, ADHD, on
Ritalin, in the 5th grade Gifted and Talented Education program at public
school, is served under an IEP and gets pullout services for reading,
writing and organization skills.  He's very bright but quite learning
disabled, and needs specialized services tailored to him.  I am a
professional educator and can act a IEP team leader, but I need cooperation
from the district (I'm sure you all know what I mean!!!)

Any info on Gainesville would be GREATLY appreciated.  I read this newsgroup
regularly so please post or e-mail me, as you prefer.
